Question

Who do users have to contact if they want to be deleted? Do they contact local client Pinpoint admins and if so, to whom do they have to give the information? Or can an administrator delete users directly? Does deletion really mean deletion (no more data can be restored, etc.)?


Answer

Pinpoint users can be deleted via anonymization - deletes all personal identifying information (PII) and instead changes all PII to random alphanumeric string of characters

Please direct all anonymization requests to the local client Pinpoint admin, who will in turn, reach out to DDI Support on their behalf
