Situation:
I received the following error: "Bad Request Error-Request Too Long"
Cause:
This happens when the browser first loads a page and sends an HTTP request that includes an authorization token or cookie that has become too large for the server to process. When the browser tries to set or renew that cookie, its size may exceed the server’s limits—often because it has grown over time or become outdated—resulting in a 400 Bad Request error.
Solution:
Clearing your cache, cookies and browsing history will resolve this error. How to clear cache, cookies and browsing history
For Google go to three dots in the upper right hand corner
- Go to settings
- Go to Privacy and Security
- Scroll to clear browsing data and choose to clear cache, cookies and browsing history
For Firefox and Microsoft Edge
- Go to three dots in the upper right hand corner
- Go to settings
- Go to Privacy, Search and Services
- Scroll to clear browsing data and choose to clear cache, cookies and browsing history
