After connecting your second display, make sure that you’re extending your computer’s screen. You can change this on Windows by pressing the Windows Key + P. On Mac, you’ll go to System Preferences – Displays – Arrangement and uncheck “Mirror Displays”.
In PowerPoint, on the Slide Show tab, make sure that Use Presenter View is not checked off. Then, select the monitor that you would like to present your slides from.
When you begin your Zoom meeting, place the meeting’s application window on the screen that you do not want to present your slides on. When you share your screen, you’ll be prompted to share either “Screen 1” or “Screen 2”. Zoom also identifies each screen’s number in the top left corner.
After sharing your screen, you can begin your slideshow. On one monitor you’ll see your slides and you’ll be able to operate them as normal. On your second monitor, you’ll be able to see your Zoom participants’ video feeds, the participant list and the chat.
